A. Profil Singkat Pustaka KMA

Pustaka KMA merupakan sebuah program kerja dari divisi LITBANG (Penelitian dan Pengembangan) yang berada di bawah naungan organisasi KMA (Keluarga Mahasiswa Aceh). Program ini dilaksanakan pada tahun 2026 atas inisiatif dan kerja kolektif Pengurus Keluarga Mahasiswa Aceh periode 2025/2026, yang diketuai oleh tgk Muzakki adnan Lc, dipl. Kehadiran Pustaka KMA dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan sebuah ruang literasi yang dapat mendukung aktivitas intelektual, akademik, serta pengembangan budaya membaca di kalangan mahasiswa Aceh.

Sebagai lembaga yang berlandaskan semangat kekeluargaan, Pustaka KMA tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat penyimpanan dan penyediaan koleksi bacaan, tetapi juga sebagai sarana pengembangan pengetahuan, diskusi ilmiah, serta penguatan tradisi keilmuan di lingkungan mahasiswa. Melalui berbagai koleksi dan kegiatan literasi yang diselenggarakan, perpustakaan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pusat sumber belajar yang bermanfaat bagi anggota organisasi maupun masyarakat akademik yang lebih luas.

Sejak didirikan, Pustaka KMA terus berupaya mengembangkan perannya sebagai pusat informasi dan literasi yang mendukung kegiatan pendidikan serta mempererat hubungan kekeluargaan di antara mahasiswa Aceh.

B. Latar Belakang & visi misi Pendirian Pustaka KMA

Pendirian Pustaka KMA dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan akan sebuah ruang literasi yang tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat penyimpanan buku, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk mempererat ukhuwah dan kebersamaan di kalangan mahasiswa Aceh. Aktivitas membaca dipandang sebagai kegiatan yang tidak hanya bersifat individual, melainkan juga dapat menjadi medium interaksi sosial yang positif. Melalui kegiatan membaca bersama, diskusi, dan pertukaran gagasan, diharapkan tercipta dinamika sosial yang aktif sehingga hubungan antarindividu dalam lingkungan mahasiswa Aceh menjadi lebih akrab dan solid.

Selain itu, keberadaan Pustaka KMA juga didorong oleh kebutuhan untuk menjaga dan mengelola berbagai aset karya tulis yang dihasilkan oleh mahasiswa/i Keluarga Mahasiswa Aceh. Berbagai karya tulis tersebut, memerlukan sebuah sistem pengelolaan yang lebih teratur agar dapat terpelihara dengan baik dan dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh warga KMA.

Di sisi lain, pendirian perpustakaan ini juga bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan serta meningkatkan minat baca di kalangan mahasiswa/i Keluarga Mahasiswa Aceh. Budaya membaca semdiri merupakan salah satu unsur penting dalam pengembangan intelektual mahasiswa, sehingga keberadaan perpustakaan diharapkan dapat menjadi sarana yang mendorong tumbuhnya kebiasaan membaca dan belajar secara mandiri.

Pustaka KMA juga diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah bagi individu atau kelompok yang memiliki minat dalam kegiatan literasi. Melalui keberadaan perpustakaan ini, mahasiswa dapat membentuk komunitas baca, forum diskusi, maupun berbagai kegiatan literasi lainnya yang berkontribusi terhadap pengembangan budaya intelektual di lingkungan Keluarga Mahasiswa Aceh.

C. Kerja Sama Kelembagaan

Dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pengelolaan perpustakaan, Pustaka KMA menjalin kerja sama dengan Perpustakaan Mahasiswa Indonesia Kairo. Kerja sama ini diarahkan pada pengembangan sistem pendataan dan pengelolaan koleksi perpustakaan yang lebih modern, sistematis, dan efisien.

Melalui kolaborasi tersebut, kedua lembaga berupaya membangun ekosistem pengelolaan informasi yang mendukung proses pendataan koleksi buku, karya tulis mahasiswa, serta berbagai sumber literasi lainnya secara lebih terstruktur dan rapi. Sistem pendataan yang baik diharapkan dapat mempermudah proses inventarisasi, pencarian koleksi, serta pengelolaan administrasi perpustakaan secara berkelanjutan.

Selain itu, kerja sama ini juga bertujuan untuk memperkuat jaringan literasi antar organisasi mahasiswa Indonesia di Kairo. Dengan adanya sinergi antara kedua perpustakaan, diharapkan tercipta sistem pengelolaan perpustakaan yang lebih profesional serta mampu mendukung perkembangan budaya literasi di kalangan mahasiswa Indonesia yang menempuh pendidikan di Kairo.
